First up is my college's creative writing blog. I love writing. It's my breath, my heartbeat, my life. Why wouldn't I go visit my college's blog dedicated to what I do? I am not sure I have a good answer either.
Another one I frequent is Write Anything. The blog gives writing challenges and news on writing. I want to be a writer and I like to be challenged.
For my third blog I have chosen Neil Gaiman's. Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors of both novels and comics. I suggest Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader-a graphic novel about what will happen to Bruce Wayne now that he has (warning possible spoiler) died after the end of Final Crisis. Neil Gaiman also makes me laugh a lot.
So, I do know why I love these blogs. I hope you do, too.

You have a good synopsis of each blog. I also like the way you worked in your links. Learning more about Neil Gaimon was great. I've been hearing about him for years, but have never had the chance to pick up any of his work. I really appreciate the fact that you put in a recommendation. It's nice to know what to look for from an author.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I would suggest for future reference is not using the word "yeah." When used in dialog in a story, it helps add verisimilitude to the conversation. It is not, however, a professional construction for other types of writing.
It appears you really like to write. I don't enjoy writing as much as you do. However I do like your blog choices. These blogs can come in handy to assist me with my writing skills.
